Run2Europe 2013 Day2
The morning started at around 6.30am thanks to the ringing in my ears, not a hangover but the church bells right outside our room. It was a constant bong bong bong bong bong etc for about a minute....! Why? you tell me folks, there was various theories regarding this over breakfast with our fellow bleary eyed travellers.
Anyway apart from "God's Wake Up Call" the room was very comfortable and breakfast was great (not that I eat much on these events due to running on adrenaline most of the time) according to the teams.
This day was also Seb's birthday so was treated to some German tunnels (see German Tunnel Youtube vid).
Our next destination was the town of Triberg home of Germany's highest waterfall and many "Cuckoo Clocks", but before we get there some of these cars were thirsty so fuel was the first priority.
Time for food now.
End of Day2

Wassi
We finished breakfast said morning to Wassi (the BIG dog), then loaded up the cars ready for Day 2 .
Next thing is to form up the convoy and start our adventure through Germany's "Schwartzwald" (Black Forest).
Whilst filling up the "Z guys" were drawn to a nice black 350Z owned by a German lady....so off they went to chat about the car I'm sure.
We got to Triberg around midday ready for the next challenge, again it was "Unlock the Box". So we send them off racing round a rather wet Triberg (brought the weather with us again).
Sleazy Jet win!Time for food now.
Stu and Danny....?
Whilst having lunch Paul and Sarah (team Honey Monster) give their present to Seb.
Rather nice don't you think?
We now head for Bad Sackligen on the Swiss border for today's final challenge....."The Great Escape".
More fuel first though...again!
The Great Escape challenge involved the teams collecting 4 items (sort of Treasure Hunt) then rendezvous at the train station for the "Gordon Jackson Don't Speak English Challenge".
This part of the Great Escape was the scariest for the teams as Sian (playing the role of German interrogator) got really into character!!!!
